About the place
Texas Capitol
The State Preservation Board describes the Capitol Grounds as a park-like setting around the Texas Capitol. Our architectural study frames the dome through trees, using lawn and sky to give the building breathing room. It is an original interpretation, not an official image or a measured architectural record.
