How to Change Access to a Shared OneDrive Folder

To change who can access a OneDrive photo folder, select the folder, click Details, choose Manage access, and adjust link permissions or direct access.

If you are a file owner, you can stop or change the sharing permissions for your OneDrive folders Microsoft Support. To do this, you can open a folder's Details pane to stop sharing it completely or to adjust specific permissions Microsoft Support.

Opening the OneDrive access panel

If you are the file owner, you can stop or change the sharing permissions Microsoft Support. Start by selecting the specific file or folder you want to stop sharing Microsoft Support. Select Details in the upper-right corner of the command bar to open the Details pane Microsoft Support. The way around this limitation is to delete your sharing link and create a new one with a different permission Microsoft Support.

Adjusting direct access for individuals

To change permissions or stop sharing with someone who has direct access, select the person's name Microsoft Support. Under Direct Access, choose the option that you want and select Apply Microsoft Support.
